Contextual Architecture

The Contextual Security Architecture is based on the view of “The Business” and is often seen as one of the most important layers within the SABSA® model, as it is where the establishment of the overall objectives will take place. In this layer:
  • the assets (what) are all related to The Business
  • the motivation (why) maps to the Business Risk Model
  • the process (how) maps to the Business Process Model
  • the people (who) are the Business Organization and Relationships
  • the location (where) is related to the geographical locations of the business impacted by the initiative
  • the time (when) is dependent upon the Business’ time objectives
